Thank you for your service and leadership, Mr Lee Hsien Loong, and congratulations to Mr Lawrence Wong, Singapore's fourth Prime Minister! We are confident that Singapore is in capable hands. As a people-first organisation, we resonate with and support PM Wong's vision of fostering a society where everyone can thrive and everyone matters. Hear from our Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Yeo, on how Income Insurance continues to empower financial well-being for all, including the underserved, as we support Prime Minister Wong and all Singaporeans in building a more resilient nation together.
Congratulations, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, on your appointment as the fourth Prime Minister of Singapore! I would also like to extend my deepest gratitude to our previous Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, for his dedicated service, unwavering support, and visionary leadership. His leadership was pivotal and instrumental in shaping Singapore's progress and prosperity over the last 20 years. Singapore is poised for its next phase of growth and success with the foundation that our forefathers have laid, along with the renewed energy that the new leadership brings. While the challenges facing Singapore today are complex and multifaceted, including an ageing population, I strongly believe opportunities abound. I’m particularly looking forward to contributing towards Forward SG’s roadmap. As an insurer deeply committed to Singapore's prosperity, we stand ready to support Prime Minister Wong, his new cabinet, and the people of Singapore as we navigate the challenges and seize the opportunities that lie ahead. Whether championing sustainability, supporting mental wellness, or addressing protection gaps, Income Insurance Limited remains steadfast in our purpose to empower financial wellbeing for all, including the underserved, so that Singaporeans can be resilient to live better, longer. To walk the talk, our refreshed social impact strategy gives considerations to the Forward SG report to ensure that our social investments are addressing the right priorities that matter to Singaporeans. Let's raise a toast to Prime Minister Wong, his new cabinet, and the resilient spirit of our fellow Singaporeans as we pave the way for a prosperous and forward-thinking Singapore. 🇸🇬 #ResilienceMadeYours #OnwardSingapore

What can we do to help working mothers thrive? In celebration of Mothers’ Day, we spoke to Serene Chew, a mother of two and Senior Manager, Strategic Communications, at Income Insurance. 🌟 🌟 🌟 ❓ What is your favourite part about being a mother? 👩🏻 The little joys and moments that my children bring into my life. Interacting with them has taught me to appreciate and perceive the world in new and meaningful ways. They are individuals with different perspectives and antics. Parenting has been such an enlightening journey, especially as a mother of a neurodivergent child. ❓ What are you most grateful for as a working mother? 👩🏻 My support system! From loved ones to friends, I am fortunate to be surrounded by people who are so generous with their love and care. Not forgetting the nice colleagues who make work fun, and inspiring mentors who have been invested in my growth, imparting their experiences and knowledge to aid me along. As someone who is passionate about what I do, I’ve never been able to envision myself as a stay-at-home mother, so it has been a blessing to be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. ❓ How do you think people can support working mothers more effectively? 👩🏻 Be kinder, more empathetic, and allow for vulnerability. Personally, I think that everyone deserves a safe space to be their authentic selves, even in the workplace. ❓ What advice would you give to new mothers or mothers-to-be so that they can thrive in both their personal and professional lives? 👩🏻 Embrace self-love and self-care, understanding that by prioritising your own needs, you're better equipped to care for others. Also, know that it’s okay to need help – we all do sometimes. 🌟 🌟 🌟 Thank you for sharing your story! The power of empathy truly makes a difference. As strong as mothers are, they too can use a little kindness and support from us all. Happy Mothers' Day! 🧡💪🏻

Thank you, Mr Liu, for brightening our week with your encouraging testimonial! We appreciate you taking the time to share your positive travel claims experience in Lianhe Zaobao’s forum: https://lnkd.in/ehezg842 A retiree who travelled to Malacca with his wife and a group of friends, Mr Liu recalls how easy it was for his wife to make an online claim for a doctor’s visit after they had returned from the trip. Within a day of submitting the required documents, they received a notice that their claim had been successfully processed, and that the amount would be credited to their bank account via PayNow within a week. “Our ethos of putting people first guides how we craft our products, services, and experiences. We tirelessly invest time and effort in ensuring every interaction delights our customers. We hope to get it right every single time, and we are humble enough to know that there are always things to improve. Such moments, as exemplified by Mr Liu’s case, are validation that our efforts do delight customers. We will continue to invest in understanding customers and striving to continue earning their trust.” shared Chief Operating Officer, Theresa Nai. At Income Insurance, customer-centricity is key, and we are steadfast in delivering customer experience that delights our customers. Mr Liu’s story serves as a reminder of the importance of our services, and the meaningful duties we carry out to make a difference in people's lives. #IncomeMadeYours #PeopleFirst
